Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons has already earned plenty of respect among his NFL peers, but he found himself trending last night when Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette knocked him clean off his feet.
After Parsons bagged a pair of first-half sacks on Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, Fournette was enlisted to make sure he did not touch the GOAT again. Fournette delivered a devastating blow as Parsons was preparing to engage with Bucs left tackle Josh Wells, sending him airborne.
No penalty was called on the play, and Fournette was mostly praised for his pass blocking after the video of the hit went viral.
After the game, Parsons took to Twitter and called out Fournette for the block.
“Now go watch the tape! And see what happenned when it was me and him one on one!!! You hit someone not looking you straight pus*y !! Stop hyping this weak as shit it’s football!!”

Parsons is one of the league’s top young stars, winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award last season. The last thing fans want to see is him sustaining an unnecessary injury. We’re lucky that wasn’t the case on this occasion.
Speaking of injuries, the Cowboys are already dealing with enough of them as it is, as it was announced after their 19-3 loss to the Bucs last night that Dak Prescott had sustained a hand injury that will require surgery. The latest report has the Cowboys quarterback missing six to eight weeks.
