Danny Torres, the police officer who forcefully removed Tyreek Hill from his car and handcuffed him during Sunday’s shocking incident, apparently does a lot more on the side.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was the center of attention heading into the close of the weekend after being detained by Miami-Dade police shortly before the Dolphins’ opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hill was able to play as he was released in time to suit up for the game, but the incident has stirred up some controversy. Torres was placed on administrative leave, with the department opening an investigation, but recent reports indicate he has returned to work and is on desk duty.
Said lawman was shown in body-cam footage wearing long black compression sleeves underneath his uniform. The MDPD has since identified him as a 27-year veteran.

Torres is also a bike enthusiast who is believed to be in a club, as his FB profile is filled with photos of him on motorcycles connected to the Florida sector of a group called the Gunfighters Motorcycle Club.
A certain photo shows him wearing a leather vest bearing patches identifying him as “Peacemaker,” “Dano,” and “President.”
Per the club’s website, Florida’s “Peacemaker” chapter launched in 2018.
Torres was involved in a traffic accident in 2020 and spent a month in a coma, having suffered serious injuries. A GoFundMe page raised close to $25,000 for him.
