Tyreek Hill is not a fan of his hands being questioned.
Retired NFL superstar Steve Smith and Shannon Sharpe recently did just that. Steve Smith Sr. and Shannon Sharpe were discussing Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill together when they noted that Hill is not exactly a “hands catcher.”
“Tyreek Hill is [fantastic], he’s Cheetah. He runs faster than anyone I’ve known at wide receiver.
Sharpe added:
“This is not a knock, but he’s not a natural catcher of the ball.”
Smith continued:

“He’s not a pure hands catcher.”
Hill first shared the clip on Instagram with a message at the end.
He captioned it:
“24 hours to respond… Respect to both you greats.”
On Twitter, he posted a telling gif.
Hill caught 12 passes for 177 yards on Sunday, giving him a league-leading 701 receiving yards through six games this season. He already is more than halfway to the Dolphins record of 1,389 yards set by Mark Clayton during the 16-game 1984 season.
Through six games, Tyreek Hill has caught 50 passes for 701 yards and two touchdowns. He is on pace for roughly 142 receptions and 1,986 receiving yards.
Not bad numbers for a guy who isn’t a pure pass catcher.
