The Miami Dolphins already have a ton of speedy guys on their team and they may be on track to adding yet another.
Anthony Schwartz didn’t live up to expectations to begin his career with the Cleveland Browns, and they eventually had to part ways with him.
Schwartz worked out for the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday with the hopes of getting a second shot in the NFL. He was among three receivers worked out by the Dolphins, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.
The 22-year-old, who was a former third-round pick out of Auburn by the Browns in the 2020 draft, was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.
Schwartz has been without a team since being let go by the Browns in August. The most notable thing about him is his speed but he has to put everything together in order to stay long-term in the league.
Last season, he appeared in 11 games for the Browns and caught four passes for 51 yards. He also added four carries for 57 yards and one touchdown.
