For months, the Miami Dolphins were heavily rumored to be a team to pursue Tom Brady as they had no clue if Tua Tagovailoa would be that guy for them going forward.
Last year, the young QB showed that he could get it done on the field. Despite his concerning concussion issues, it appears the Dolphins may be out on the market for Tom Brady.
According to the latest report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team will not pursue Brady, Schefter said.
“But the Dolphins are committed to Tua Tagovailoa as their starting quarterback for 2023, sources told Schefter, and were pleased with his development this past season under first-year coach Mike McDaniel,” ESPN wrote.
The Dolphins pursuing Brady made them lose their first-round pick this year as punishment for tampering with the legendary quarterback. That pick was lost for nothing after the team went out and traded for Tyreek Hill and it changed everything for Tua going forward.
Brady made major headlines when somebody recorded him touring an elite Miami prep school for his children which caused more rumors that the Dolphins may be an option.

If Schefter’s report is correct, it appears the Dolphins have their man at QB already.
