Tyreek Hill is under investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department. Reports state Hill “got into some kind of disagreement” with an employee of the Haulover Marina, leading to an altercation where he allegedly hit the man.
Miami sports radio show host Andy Slater reported that Hill slapped the employee on the back of the head but that the employee has declined to press charges at this time.
The Dolphins released a statement and said that they are aware of the investigation.
“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives, and the NFL,” the Dolphins said, via NFL.com. “We will reserve further comment at this time.”
No charges have been filed in the case.
Hill is entering his second season with the Dolphins after spending the first six of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite trading Hill, Kansas City went on to win the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes won his second MVP award.

He finished this past season with 119 receptions for 1,710 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Barring a setback for where he receives a suspension, Hill should improve upon his numbers even more if Tua is able to stay healthy for all games, something he was not able to do during the 2022 season.
