Following the resurgence of HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ thanks in large part to their featuring of the new-look New York Jets ahead of the season, the Miami Dolphins have been selected as the show’s in-season team.
The Dolphins have been one of the most fun teams to watch this season given their electric pace, as well as the atmosphere created by head coach Mike McDaniel and his coaching staff. So fans are likely to be excited at the prospect of watching them behind the scenes, with the team, HBO, and NFL Films announcing that they’ll be the focal point of the in-season version of said program.
Details are yet to be finalized, but we can report that one of the most popular NFL teams in 2023 will be coming to the screen in a different way this season, taking over from the Arizona Cardinals, who were last term’s in-season team.
The Fins, who are 5-2 after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, have been on ‘Hard Knocks’ before, featuring in 2012 while playing under head coach Joe Philbin.
Last season’s in-season iteration started on November 9 and was shown every Wednesday through to January 11, except when the Cards were on a bye week. Miami will have a bye week after they play the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany on November 5.
