The Miami Dolphins could be without one of their star wide receivers for the remainder of the regular season.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, head coach Mike McDaniel has revealed that Jaylen Waddle sustained a high-ankle sprain against the Dallas Cowboys during Sunday’s 22-20 win.
The wideout left the game with an eye injury before returning. He was forced out for a second time as he appeared to hurt his shin and did not return.
The Dolphins have a pair of tough games coming up as they’re to play the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills to close out their campaign, so this will come as a bitter blow.
Waddle has made 72 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns for Miami in 2023.
