The Chicago Bears should’ve had a better chance to tie their game or possibly win against the Miami Dolphins if not for a bad missed call.
On Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, the refs decided to swallow their whistle and not call a clear PI on a late play as the team was driving to better position themselves to score.
Facing third-and-10 on the Bears’ final possession, Fields threw deep to receiver Chase Claypool who was defended by two Dolphins on the play. While it looked like Claypool was interfered with on the play, no flag was thrown.
The Bears nearly came back from three double-digit deficits as back-to-back defensive stops late in the game gave the offense a chance to take the lead twice.
