After just three weeks of play, it is clear who will win the Super Bowl, at least to ESPN’s computer.
ESPN’s FPI (Football Power Index) has the Miami Dolphins as the top favorite to raise the Lombardi trophy in February in Las Vegas. The Dolphins have a 28.5% chance of winning it all.
Aside from Taylor Swift, the Miami Dolphins were the most talked about team this past Sunday after they dropped over 700 yards of offense and 70 points at home against the Denver Broncos.
Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa nearly broke an NFL record with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Tagovailoa, who completed his first 17 passes and was 16 of 16 in the first half, completed 23 of 26 passes for 309 yards and four scores.
Tagovailoa will enter Week 4 with a 71.3 percent completion rate, 1,024 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill totaled 157 yards and a score on nine catches.
If Tua can stay healthy, the Dolphins will be limitless in what they can do going forward.
The Dolphins will face the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. EDT Oct. 1 in Orchard Park, N.Y.
