The Atlanta Falcons set a standard before they even opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium when they announced that concession prices would be like no other stadium around the country where hot dogs, sodas, or whatever else your heart desired would be priced at $5 or below.
As a result, it was announced in January 2018 that sales actually increased 16% compared to the previous season in the old stadium where concession prices were in line to what everybody else was doing.
They also sold hot dogs for $2 at the Super Bowl and they were easily the top selling item on that day.
Fast forward to March 2019 and the stadium is back at it again as they sent out yet another announcement that already low prices would be dropping even further going forward, including making their famous $2 hot dog a $1.50 hot dog.
The new prices will go into effect immediately at MLS games there.
