The second episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets” is officially out and it features a very special guest.
The Jets brought in mentalist Oz Pearlman to perform for them at training camp. He left Aaron Rodgers speechless with an insane card trick, but that wasn’t all he did.
New York Jets wide receiver Mecole Hardman was the subject of his next trick as he predicted that the Jets will beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl this coming season.
He called Hardman to the front and asked him to select a jigsaw piece. He got a couple of pieces in both hands. He then asked him to toss one and keep one. He did so and just happened to keep the piece that completed a New York Jets jigsaw that Oz had brought with him.
Pearlman asked Mecole Hardman for his Super Bowl prediction. The wide receiver chose the San Francisco 49ers as the NFC team they would face for the Lombardi Trophy. He then asked him what would be the final score. He said 31-21 in favor of the Jets.
Pearlman then turned the completed jigsaw around and it showed that exact score. Mecole Hardman, along with all of his Jets teammates, look flabbergasted performance.

The whole point of Pearlman’s appearance on the show was to have him read the minds of the Jets players which is exactly what he did in this situation.
It would be quite the leap for a team that finished with a below .500 record last year to become a Super Bowl champion this coming season.
The New York Jets are shooting for the stars this year after trading for Aaron Rodgers this offseason. They want more than just a playoff appearance as he was brought in to take them to the promised land.
