If you’ve paid any attention to sports in the Los Angeles area over the past 50 years or so, you’d know that the area is not exactly the best place for fan support, unless you’re a Lakers fan, Dodgers fan, and after signing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, a Clippers fan.
When it comes to football, it gets even worse, and that’s with two current NFL teams in town right now.
The fandom was totally lacking even when the Los Angeles Rams made the Super Bowl, and it was even worse for the Chargers who posted a 12-4 record and won a game in the postseason.
During a recent Instagram live session, Chargers running back Melvin Gordon was walking on the street when he was approached by a Packers fan. The guy wanted to know about Chargers fans, which made Gordon complain about the team’s lack of fan support.
“no one cared.”
As you know, Gordon is currently holding out from the team as he seeks to get off his rookie deal and get a bigger one.

Maybe, he wants to go to a team where the fan base actually likes the team and shows up. As of now, the Chargers play sixteen away games every year.
