The Panthers selected Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday night.
The team gave up a lot to get that pick and select him, so they clearly feel like he will be the next big thing in Carolina for years to come.
Young, a two-year starter at Alabama, put up astounding stats as a collegiate quarterback, accumulating 8,200 passing yards, 79 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 27 games with the Crimson Tide between 2021 and 2022.
