Free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick is once again ramping up his workouts in hopes of getting back into the National Football League.
Such workout videos prompted Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll to say this past week that he believes Kaepernick deserves a second chance in the NFL.
Richard Whitfield, who oversaw Kaepernick’s workouts with NFL receivers, said that he believes Kaepernick could play for any team in the league.
“[Kaepernick] could play for any one of these 32 teams. He looked great,” Whitfield said, via The Wall Street Journal. “Five years? You’d think he just finished playing football during the regular season.”
Now, you can add even more to his possible return with what media members, top trainers, and current players have to say:
“Past two weeks of Kaepernick workouts: Media who attended say he should be in NFL. All of top trainers in world he worked out with say same. So do current, former, and aspiring NFL players he worked out with. All who watched say his talent, fitness, readiness and skill are there.”

Now, if you’re one of those people who will still be skeptical about this information, then you have every right to be since the guy who put out the tweet is the co-owner of Kaepernick.inc.
Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since 2016. He gained national attention for kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality. Kaepernick held an additional workout in 2019 that quickly soured when the NFL announced media would not be allowed at a pre-arranged workout set up by league officials.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has even came out and suggested that teams give him a shot, but nothing has materalized as of yet.
