This is not what you want to see during your team’s final game of the preseason.
The New York Jets decided to give their first-team offense a test run for the first time this preseason tonight when they took on the New York Giants at MetLife. It turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag for Aaron Rodgers and company, as they looked flustered at times, but did manage to put together an impressive touchdown drive on just their season series.
However, they were hit with some bad news when wide receiver Mecole Hardman was forced to head to the locker room with an injury.
According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, it appeared as though he was nursing some sort of hand or wrist injury.
The Jets acquired Hardman this offseason as a free agent. The speedster spent the first four seasons of his career in Kansas City, where he won two Super Bowls while making some big plays for the Chiefs.
