Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby needed to work done after playing through some pain during the past 2023 season.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Crosby underwent knee surgery to address an injury he had dealt with since Week 2 of the 2023 campaign. He has been dealing with this pain for months and finally found the time to do something about it.
Crosby had been dealing with a bursa injury in his knee since Week Two, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Following his report, the pass-rusher posted a picture of himself that seemed to indicate the procedure was a success:
Crosby played in all 17 games last season, although he was listed on the injury report multiple times.
In the meantime he has been lobbying for Antonio Pierce to be hired as the Raiders head coach, and has reportedly mulled a trade request if Pierce isn’t hired by the franchise.
