Max Kellerman has finally been silenced…at least for a few seconds.
Kellerman’s five-year run on ‘First Take’ came to an end last week as he was slated to make a move to join the morning radio program.
Alongside ex-NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson and former basketball star Jay Williams, Kellerman will replace Zubin Mehenti. His debut on the show got to a very rocky start during his introduction because nobody could hear a word that came from his mouth.
His microphone was not turned on.
Kellerman will also be hosting “a new ESPN television series (more details to follow),” ESPN said in a release. The company also said plans on First Take’s updated format will be revealed “soon.”
He will continue his once-a-week boxing program on ESPN2.
