The Mattress Mack curse is real. Earlier this month, he lost $4.7 million in six days betting on football.
The Houston furniture store owner lost $2.7 million in money-line wagers on Alabama when the Crimson Tide lost 33-18 to Georgia in the College Football Playoff national title game. He then lost $2 million in futures bets on the Patriots to win the Super Bowl when New England got destroyed 47-17 by the Buffalo Bills in their AFC wild-card playoff game.
Back in December, he told The Action Network he lost “more than $13 million” in bets after the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros, 6-2, in Game 7 of the World Series. Basically, if Mack picks your team, your team is in big trouble.
Well, Bengals fans….Prepare to be upset.
Mattress Mack has put $1.1 million on the Bengals in their matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

“A setback is just a setup for a comeback.”
Joe Burrow is going to need to be spectacular just as he was last week. The Bengals star quarterback completed 24 of 34 passes for 244 yards with two touchdowns in the team’s 26-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Unfortunately for the Bengals, the Tennessee Titans will activate running back Derrick Henry for their AFC divisional-round playoff game. Henry was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 1 because of a fractured foot he suffered in week 8.
Henry’s 937 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns rank sixth among all running backs this season.
