On Friday, there was yet another report that suggested Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could be traded from the only franchise he has never known.
NFL insider Michael Silver suggested the Lions don’t want to trade Stafford, but the star quarterback wants out. “Some general managers and coaches around the league believe Stafford is the one who wants the Lions to move him,” Silver said.
On Friday afternoon, Stafford’s wife took to Instagram with a message directed to Lions fans, posting a photo of Stafford with the lyrics from P. Diddy’s “Bay Boys for Life,” which read “We ain’t, goin nowhere, we ain’t, goin nowhere. We can’t be stopped now, cause it’s Bad Boy for life.”
She continued with another post:
“Nor has that ever been a thought,” she said in the post. “He loves Detroit and the Lions organization and so do I. (Not that anyone cares about this but this is my Instagram so). Anyways, back to the Combine please.”
That clears everything up.
