Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, had to issue a public apology after the response she gave towards an Instagram troll.
Kelly called a troll a “misogynistic pig” after he left this comment under her Instagram post:
“[Matthew] could have his pick of women so just a little bit of makeup. If you weren’t married you’d have it on.”
Kelly Stafford may have been right with how she responded, but she didn’t feel like turning into that type of person and would soon release an apology.
“I resorted to name calling which I truly do not like,” Stafford said. “So I apologize to [the troll], but maybe you should think about if someone said that to your wife or daughters … I’m sure you would be wildly upset.”

A few days ago, the Los Angeles Rams placed quarterback Matthew Stafford on injured reserve. Now he’s slated to miss at least the next four games after the decision to place him on IR, but with the team not really being in playoff contention, this injury likely ends his year. The Rams’ 3-8 record is tied for the worst record by a defending Super Bowl champion through 11 games. No reigning Super Bowl champion has ever started the following season 3-9.
The former No. 1 overall pick of the Detroit Lions has missed two out of the Rams’ last three games.
Behind Stafford, the Rams have three passers on the depth chart: Mayfield, John Wolford, and Bryce Perkins.
Across nine games played this season, Stafford accumulated 2,087 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 68 percent completion rate.
