With the return of the XFL, fans are once again getting accustomed to hearing a bunch of audio from players on the field. There are mics everywhere on the field as well as on players.
Television broadcasts for the 2023 XFL season have featured players wearing live microphones, which has led to various conversations that have been quite entertaining.
It has led to some wanting the same action in the NFL. New England Patriots edge rusher Matthew Judon couldn’t disagree more.
The New England Patriots defender took to Twitter and blasted NFL Insider Mike Florio for even suggesting it.
“Dear @ProFootballTalk STFU. this wouldn’t be good for anyone. At all y’all hear enough,” Judon wrote.
The current XFL season is only two weeks old but they have already gotten fans wanting to see some of their rules and innovations crossover into the big leagues.

One of the other notable ones is the onside kick rule where teams can elect to throw it on 4th and 15th instead of the traditional kick.
