The Atlanta Falcons ended the Matt Ryan era on Monday when they sent the veteran QB to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2022 third-round pick.
Following the trade, the Falcons posted a video on Twitter thanking Ryan, so his wife watched it and responded to it on Twitter.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying,” Sarah wrote. “Forever thankful for this team, fan base and city!”
In a follow-up tweet, she showed her excitement about her husband’s new beginning.
Ryan only missed three of Atlanta’s 225 games over 14 seasons. The 2016 NFL MVP leaves with 59,735 passing yards and 367 passing touchdowns.
