Matt Ryan is way too old to be taking hits like this.
While going for it on 4th down, the Colts forgot to block Chiefs’ cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, who came in unblocked and destroyed the Colts quarterback.
Ryan fumbled the ball as a result.
The Colts got out to a quick start against the Chiefs, jumping out to a 7-0 lead after taking advantage of a muffed punt. However, the Chiefs have rebounded and their defense has made things difficult for Ryan and company.
Matt Ryan has had a difficult time hanging onto the ball during his tenure with the Colts so far. After fumbling the ball four times in week one and once in week two, he has another two fumbles against the Chiefs today.
For those keeping count at home, that’s seven fumbles in two-and-a-half games. Even Carson Wentz wasn’t that much of a liability.
