The Buffalo Bills likely wish they had never been scheduled to play out in London for several reasons.
During their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo saw two key defensive starters–linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones–leave the game with injuries.
Things go even worse in the days following as Milano reportedly fractured his leg and may have also suffered a serious knee injury, while Jones tore his pectoral muscle.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Bills officially placed both players on injured reserve and they are “likely” done of the year.
Before he was ruled out, Milano had three tackles against Jacksonville. So far this season, Milano has recorded 27 total tackles, one forced fumble and two interceptions. Losing Milano for the year will be a huge loss for the Bills. Not only is he a key player on the defense, but the team is already missing key defensive members.
Jones, meanwhile, has 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks on the season.
