The best way to beat the heat and humidity awaiting the Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville is to stay completely dehydrated. Packers coach Matt LaFleur knows the best way to understand the body’s hydration level.
Clear urine means well hydrated.
“Every time they pee, you want it to look clear,” LaFleur said.
Green Bay was originally scheduled to take on the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome in Week 1, but Hurricane Ida happened and the home team chose to have the game in Jacksonville.
The current forecast for Jacksonville calls for temps in the mid-80s with humidity levels of 75 percent or higher.
“Our guys have to do an unbelievable job of taking care of their bodies, of hydrating, so that we can go out there and play for four quarters. It’s going to be a tough physical football game for four quarters long in some elements that are hard to replicate,” LaFleur said.
