Quay Walker has been public enemy number one after he bizarrely pushed an athletic trainer as they tried to tend to an injured player on Sunday night. The incident, which was broadcast in prime time, showed Walker shove a Detroit Lions trainer in the back less than a week after Buffalo Bills’ player Damar Hamlin likely had his life saved by the quick action of his team’s medical staff.
He was soon ejected from the game and his season would be over since his team failed to qualify for the postseason after they lost to the Lions.
Walker said he reacted “off his emotions” but what does his head coach think about it.
Coach Matt LaFleur didn’t make any excuses for his first-round draft pick.
“That is unacceptable,” LaFleur said Sunday. “I mean, we’ve had a guy (Walker) get ejected twice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in my career. We’ve got to be much more mentally tough.
“Any time our guys commit personal fouls, I take that very personally. Because I think that’s always a reflection of myself and the standards that we set for these players. We’ve got to be better, and we’ve got to learn from that because that is unacceptable.”

Hopefully, he learned a valuable lesson on how his actions can end up costing his team big time
