Matt Judon is a lucky man.
On Monday, the edge rusher had an amazing story about his lost wallet.
The Patriots shared a clip on social media from a June interview with Judon discussing how he tracks his wallet should he ever lose it.
“I have to have a chain because I lose my wallet,” Judon said in a team-provided video. “I got the AirTag connected to my wallet. I haven’t lost it in seven years, but I lose it all the time.”
Well, that AirTag came in good use as the Patriots defensive star posted a video on his Instagram story showing him picking up his wallet on the side of a highway after his teammate left it on top of a car.
“Little storytime,” Judon said on Instagram. “So Marcus put my wallet on top of a car. Good old AirTag saved me, though. I was almost at work and had to come back and track it down.”

On the season, Judon has seven tackles and two sacks for a Patriots team that is struggling to secure a victory so far in 2023. The team is 0-2 and things do not look to get better next week as they get ready to play the New York Jets.
The New England Patriots are 0-2 for the first time since the 2001 season, snapping the NFL’s longest streak of avoiding back-to-back opening losses. This year marked the first time a Bill Belichick-coached Patriots team trailed by 10 or more points in each of the first two games of a season.
The Patriots visit the New York Jets on Sunday, then travel to face the Cowboys in Week 4. This team could very well be 0-4 by then.
