The Pittsburgh Steelers had no reason to win Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, but they made the necessary plays when it counted to come out victorious.
The Pittsburgh Steelers found a way to beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 despite not playing well for most of the contest. In a typical Ravens-Steelers game, it was a defensive battle decided by three or fewer points.
The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to take a firm grasp on first place in the AFC North with a win but the mistake-prone Ravens allowed it to slip away.
The Steelers trailed by seven points entering the fourth quarter and needed some offensive help to really get the lead. Kenny Pickett found a streaking George Pickens for a 41-yard touchdown pass. Pittsburgh took the lead, 14-10.
The coaches in the sky box went nuts over it, except for offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

Canada clearly has the face of a man who knows he did not call the final play. Calls for his job have been loud and even on Sunday as Steelers fans want him replaced.
T.J. Watt recovered a Jackson fumble on the Ravens’ final drive and ultimately sealed the game. Watt finished the game with two sacks on Jackson, who was sacked four times while throwing for 236 yards.
Pickett finished the game 18-of-32 with 224 passing yards and a touchdown pass. Pickens led the Steelers with six catches for 130 yards and a score.
Pittsburgh moved to 3-2 on the year. Baltimore fell to 3-2.
