The wife of an NFL veteran has suggested that the player, a Super Bowl winner, won’t be returning for the 2023/24 season.
It appears the Green Bay Packers will be going into the upcoming campaign with a new placekicker, as well as a new starting quarterback. Mason Crosby, who has been with the team since 2007, is likely on his way out after helping Green Bay win a championship, having also set numerous records as a franchise kicker.
Molly Crosby suggested as much in a response to a tweet from Simone Biles, talking up the city with claims that their run there is over.
“Sad we will miss you, we just ended a 16 year run with the team…that being said…I’ve got some stuff I need to share with you. Little city with a big heart and some AMAZING stores and restaurants. We loved our time there and so will you! Let’s talk coats, boots, custom packer gear…” she wrote.
The above stems from the Packers signing Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens. The former Houston Texans safety put pen to paper on his deal this Saturday with Biles sitting right next to him.
Biles would ask fans for recommendations pertaining to the city in her post, prompting a response from Molly.

Crosby joins the likes of Mercedes Lewis and Adrian Amos as Packers veterans who are still free agents.
Team general manager Brian Gutekunst had previously claimed Green Bay would “never close the door” on bringing Crosby back, although they used a sixth-round pick to draft kicker Anders Carlson this offseason.
