Nobody lives life quite like Marshawn Lynch.
Former NFL star Marshawn Lynch ventured into a different sport this week when National Hockey League fans spotted him in Winnipeg, Manitoba, sporting a Seattle Kraken jersey.
Marshawn Lynch attended Tuesday night’s NHL game between the Seattle Kraken and Winnipeg Jets as he sat in the lower bowl of the Canada Life Centre. It was quite the site to see.
The 37-year-old supporting Seattle shouldn’t be shocking since he played seven seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, where he became a fan favorite and helped the franchise win Super Bowl XLVIII and get to another one where he was not handed the ball to win it all.
NHL fans quickly took to social media to react to seeing the legendary running back:

Marshawn Lynch was there for more than just support as the native of Oakland, California joined the Kraken’s ownership group near the end of the team’s inaugural season in April 2022. This groundbreaking move was announced alongside rapper Macklemore, which was a dynamic addition to the Kraken’s ownership group.
“I always dreamed of playing on a professional team, but owning one is something special,” Lynch stated back in 2022.
The precise financial details of Lynch’s investment have never been disclosed. However, CNBC estimated that such minority equity deals typically represent around 1% or less of a team’s total value.
