Former Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch says he would not rule out returning to play again in 2020, but it has to be the best situation. He added he’s received some interest from teams.
“If the situation is right then it could happen,” Lynch said in an interview with Conan O’Brien. “I’ve been asked the question by a couple teams here recently. Like, ‘Are you ready?’ I’m ready if y’all are Super Bowl ready. That’s what it would take me to come out and play again. it would have to be a guaranteed Super Bowl game for me.”
It was back in late 2019 when the Seahawks brought Lynch back and out of retirement after dealing with injuries at the running back position.
In 2019, Lynch appeared in one regular-season game and rushed for 34 yards on 12 carries (2.8 YPC) and one touchdown.
