Marshawn Lynch is back in the NFL.
Former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was seen hanging out on the sidelines at the training camp of the Detroit Lions.
It’s unclear why Lynch is in Detroit and why he was at their camp today. It may have something to do with his segments for Amazon’s Thursday Night Football broadcasts.
The network has a regular bit during the season where Lynch visits different NFL cities and has Lynch do things he loves to do for our entertainment.
The Lions kick off the 2023 season on the road against the Chiefs. They’ll visit the Packers for another Thursday night road game in Week 4, but won’t have a home Thursday game until Week 12 which is also against the Packers.
With Aaron Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets, the NFC North appears to be as wide open as it’s been in a long time as the surging Lions are looking to capitalize on their 2022 season.

Lynch played for the Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, and Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders before calling it a career. He finished with 2,453 carries for 10,413 yards and 85 touchdowns. He helped the Seahawks to a Super Bowl in 2014 over the Denver Broncos. He likely should’ve helped win a second one against the Patriots, but Pete Carroll made the decision to not give him the ball on the goal line in a crucial play that ended with an interception.
He’s now watching a Lions team that has the potential to break their seven-year playoff drought. They haven’t made the playoffs since they lost to the Seahawks in the 2016 playoffs.
