If you plan on having Marshawn Lynch on a live broadcast, please plan on working overtime to have censor buttons ready because he never holds his tongue.
Remember SlamBall? A more physical version of basketball but on trampolines? Well, it’s been revived and it’s on ESPN these days.
Marshawn Lynch will be part of Slamball’s broadcast crew for the playoff in Las Vegas and he got his start this week. He certainly made it memorable.
Slamball officials behind the scenes had to censor a lot of what was coming out of his mouth because the former NFL running back kept cursing.
The veteran running back will join the broadcast for this week’s ESPN broadcast of the SlamBall playoffs. He’ll be alongside John Schriffen and Jon Dorenbos for the semifinals and championship game.
“Marshawn Lynch stands out as one of the sports world’s most distinctive personalities, making him a perfect addition to the SlamBall broadcast booth,” SlamBall co-founder Mason Gordon said in a press release. “His unfiltered perspective and extensive experience on sports’ biggest stages will perfectly complement John Schriffen and Jon Dorenbos, who have been mainstays this season. With this playoff broadcast team, we’re confident in elevating the already exhilarating on-court action for our viewers.”

After one game, it appears they may need to speak with him to get him to tone it down for the remainder of the games.
The five-time Pro Bowler dropped a few F-bombs on ESPN so he is no stranger to having slip-ups. It comes with the territory of people wanting to speak with him, so you take the good with the bad.
Lynch will continue his coverage with the semifinals and championship game taking place on Thursday, August 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET/11:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
