When Marshawn Lynch decided on whether he’s going to play one more year in the NFL in 2019, he might be on tap to receive a suspension from the league.
On Friday, the Oakland Raiders running back was a guest on “Real Time With Bill Maher” to discuss multiple topics, including the incident during the December 24th victory over the Denver Broncos ,where he was seen using the Al Davis memorial torch to light his blunt.
He confirmed that he was.
“I did,” Lynch said after laughing at the question. “True. I think it was only right to send the Raiders off in the real Oakland way.”
He was then asked by Maher if he received any backlash from the league for what he did or tried to do.
“I don’t think they caught on yet,” Lynch said. “But I’m pretty sure now at this point, something will take place. Just win, baby.”
