The last thing a bad NFL team needs is fighting amongst each other, especially after coming off a difficult 2022 season.
Former Cardinals offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum is set to become a free agent, and as he potentially leaves Arizona, he left a clear message for Kyler Murray.
Beachum said Murray has some growing to do when asked what Murray needs to do in an interview on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. “Be a man and grow up.” Beachum’s comments about the 25-year-old come after a season full of maturity and leadership questions surrounding Murray and it started after a clause was put in his contract last offseason. When Murray signed his extension with the Cardinals prior to the start of the season, the team included an “independent study” clause that stated he must complete a certain amount of hours studying film.
The Cardinals eventually removed the clause, but the questions still remained.
Well, not everybody appreciated him calling out Murray.
Cardinals receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown took to Twitter to defend Murray on Thursday.

New Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said that Murray remains on schedule with his rehab. However, he is not expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season.
When he does get back, he might not have DeAndre Hopkins as rumors continue to swirl that he might be traded.
