Marquette King is very good at punting the football, yet he can’t seem to get a job in the National Football League.
King has been out of the NFL since a 2018 stint with the Denver Broncos. The former Raiders punter went from one of the best in the league to out of the league completely, despite only being 32-years-old.
In a last-ditch effort to make his case, King took to Twitter and pondered why he was being blackballed out of the league.
King led the league in yards per punt all the way back in 2013 and was second-team All-Pro in 2016.
He was valued enough to sign a five-year, $16.5 million deal with Oakland in 2016 and a three-year, $6 million deal with the Broncos.
