Millions, if not billions of people have seen the movie ‘Titanic, but it appears that everybody is not aware that it was based on real events.
On Friday afternoon, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey took to Twitter and stated he had no clue the Titanic was a real event.
“Was today year old when I found out the Titanic was real….that’s wild lowkey,” Humphrey said.
It’s one of the most infamous disasters in human history, but it somehow eluded Humphrey’s radar.
Humphrey didn’t stop there as he also confessed that he thought Rocky was based on a true story.

Despite his lack of knowledge n historical events, Humphrey was very good at his day job in the league last year. Per PFF, Humphrey played a league-leading 626 snaps in coverage without allowing a touchdown — the next best was 423 snaps.
The 16th pick in 2017, Marlon Humphrey has garnered three Pro Bowl nods in six seasons and is considered one of the top corners in the league.
Ravens’ front office, nor the fans, will care much about him knowing about the Titanic as long he continues to produce on the field.
