The Denver Broncos can do absolutely nothing right at the quarterback position ever since Peyton Manning hung up his cleats for good a few seasons ago.
The team tried unsuccessfully once again to fix the issue by trading for Joe Flacco, but if the Baltimore Ravens were willing to let their former Super Bowl MVP go, then that should’ve been a warning that he had nothing left in the tank.
Not helping the situation is having a terrible offensive line that is getting any QB behind center basically killed every Sunday.
It’s gotten so bad that former teammate Mark Schlereth is now actively trashing him as a general manager who is unable to turn this franchise around.
“Do I trust him to fix what’s gone wrong? No! This football team lacks depth, they lack talent, they lack grit, they lack toughness. They haven’t had an offensive line that’s worth a squirt of urine in 5 years.”
