A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces secured their place as one of the greatest teams in WNBA history after what they accomplished on Wednesday night.
The Aces became the first team to repeat as champions in 21 years as Wilson scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to help beat the New York Liberty 70-69 in Game 4 of the Finals on Wednesday night.
The Aces joined the Los Angeles Sparks and the Houston Comets as the only teams in league history to win consecutive titles.

What makes this win so impressive is that the team did it without starters Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes, who were both sidelined with foot injuries suffered in Game 3.
This was the first close game of the season between these teams and the final one lived up to expectations.
New York’s record fell to 2-10 all-time in the WNBA Finals.
Unfortunately for Davis, he is unlikely to have this feeling with the Las Vegas Raiders as the team is currently 3-3 and has no real direction of where the franchise is headed.
