The 2022 NFL trade deadline is just around the corner and the Eagles have made the biggest deal thus far.
The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles have been the talk of the NFL through the early portion of the 2022 regular season, and made it stay that way when they traded a fourth-round pick to the Chicago Bears in exchange for defensive end Robert Quinn.
Former Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears was understandably upset about this news.
“Howie Roseman got to be the damn Executive of the Decade,” Spears said after rubbing his head and sighing heavily. “Like, I don’t understand it, man. He did everything you needed to do this offseason — he got A.J. Brown and kept draft picks — and now you get one of the better pass-rushers.”
This is the third time Quinn has been traded over his 12-year NFL career and the second time to a team in the NFC East.
The pass-rusher has recorded eight combined tackles and one sack through seven games played. A change of scenery may just wake him up.
