Right smack in the middle of October — Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel made the decision to bench QB Marcus Mariota in favor of Ryan Tannehill.
Vrabel was hoping the veteran would bring some stability to the offense.
The former No. 2 overall pick is in his fifth season and it does not look like he will be in the future plans at QB of Tennessee.
That brings us to this next development when Mariota was spotted on the practice field taking practice reps at wide receiver.
The 26-year-old ran a 4.52 40-time at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine and has been targeted three times and hauled in two receptions for 62 receiving yards during his career.
The Titans certainly need all the help they need offense, but moving Mariota to WR is probably not one of them.
