The Tennessee Titans have a weird plan in place for this week’s game if Ryan Tannehill is unable to go.
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that Malik Willis and Will Levis could both see time at quarterback in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Tannehill is dealing with a high ankle sprain so his status is up in the air. Willis previously came on for the 2019 Pro Bowler in Tennessee’s Week 6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The 2022 third-rounder did not have a good showing as he went 4-of-5 for 74 yards while being sacked four times in 18 offensive snaps.
Willis started three games for an injured Tannehill during his own rookie campaign, completing just 50.8% of his throws in a 1-2 stretch. Levis, who was once considered a potential early first-round pick this spring, has yet to take an NFL snap and missed preseason time due to injury.

In his first season at UK, Levis threw for a career-high 2,826 yards and 24 touchdowns on a 66% completion rate.
The Titans sit at the bottom of the AFC South with a 2-4 record.
