Mike Vrabel is expected to land a coaching role this offseason.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the former Tennessee Titans head coach has been linked to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 2021 Coach of the Year is a “prime candidate” for a head coaching job for the 2025 season, and the Raiders have been mentioned as a potential landing spot.
The connection for Mike Vrabel is already in place as two former teammates, Tom Brady and Richard Seymour, officially became minority owners this year.
Vrabel’s name also came up for the Dallas Cowboys, but there have been reports that the team seems content with keeping their current head coach, Mike McCarthy, for longer. He has also received the support of quarterback Dak Prescott, and team owner Jerry Jones even spoke positively about McCarthy in recent weeks.
Should the Cowboys stand where they are, that would put the Raiders in prime position to land Vrabel if the team decides to move on from head coach Antonio Pierce this offseason.
The Las Vegas Raiders took a big risk by promoting Antonio Pierce to full-time head coach after he served as interim coach last season. So far, the risk has not paid off, as the team is 2-10.

Mike Vrabel Deserves A Second Chance
Mike Vrabel has spent the 2024 season as an assistant with the Cleveland Browns.
He had a tremendous run with the Tennessee Titans but was fired after 2023. Somehow, he still did not land a head coaching job during that cycle.
With a great resume and high-profile openings, Vrabel should be sought after this offseason and is absolutely deserving of a second chance.
Vrabel, a former linebacker who won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, coached the Titans from 2018 through 2023 and posted a record of 54-45.
