It is a great week to be a Washington Commanders fan as Daniel Snyder and his regime are finally gone and never to return to break their hopes year in and year out.
Magic Johnson is excited to be a part of Josh Harris’ ownership group of the Washington Commanders. He has called his minority stake in the Commanders his greatest business accomplishment.
Magic Johnson took to social media and posted his family rocking a lot of Washington Commanders’ gear on their personal yacht.
Johnson’s portfolio already includes a chain of movie theaters, restaurants, a slew of Starbucks locations, and a stake in the Los Angeles Dodgers. But now, Johnson is officially also a part-owner of the NFL’s Washington Commanders.
Johnson and the ownership group are taking over a franchise with a ton of controversy because of Dan Synder. Aside from that, Washington hasn’t won in the playoffs since beating Tampa Bay 17-10 in the 2005 NFC wild-card round.
The Washington Commanders last made the playoffs in 2020, when they lost the Wild Card Round. They’ve been in the playoffs a total of 25 times in their 92 seasons.
