Washington Commanders part owner Magic Johnson was not a happy camper after the club’s ugly Week 7 loss to the New York Giants.
Despite a strong outing by the defense, Washington was held back by a porous and mistake-prone offense that mustered just seven points. The banged-up Giants squeaked out a tight 14-7 victory that dropped Washington to 3-4 on the year.
And Johnson didn’t try to hide his honest feelings over the club’s frustrating loss:
Washington’s 2-0 start is suddenly a distant memory. They’ve now dropped three of their last four contests, and one can only wonder if the Johnson and Josh Harris-led ownership group is already mulling significant changes.
