There’s some thrilling news for users of the popular EA Sports “Madden” video game franchise.
As first reported by Sports Gamers Online, the upcoming “Madden 24” game will feature cross-play, allowing users of PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X to play each other regardless of those three consoles they use.
Back in February, it was reported that drastic changes could be coming to the iconic and everly popular video game series. It was said that this is considered a “make-or-break” year for the series since “Madden 23” had a plethora of technical issues that left countless users frustrated.
But adding the cross-play feature, which has been made popular by other video game series giants, should go a long way in helping EA Sports sell more “Madden” copies this year. EA Sports has yet to announce the cover athlete for “Madden 24″.” The late John Madden, who passed away in Dec. 2021, was the cover for the most recent installment.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and then-Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady graced the cover of “Madden 22” after the two all-time greats met each other in Super Bowl 55.
