The New York Giants clearly think high of Daniel Jones, but they might be the only ones. Even Madden doesn’t think much of him.
The New York Giants rookie quarterback expected to be ranked in the high 70s or early 80s when Madden NFL 20 finally released their ratings, but he was way off base.
EA put Jones as one of the lowest rated rookies in the game, even coming in behind fellow quarterbacks Will Grier and Tyree Jackson.
That is very noticeable because Tyree Jackson went undrafted.
“I’d be interested to see how we get to 63,” a disappointing Jones said in a reaction video.
Fifth-round pick Darius Slayton was another guy who received a higher rating than Jones as well. He was shocked to see Jones with such a low rating.

“63? He can throw! I’m better than him [in the game],” a stunned Slayton said.
