Alvin Kamara is having quite a week.
Kamara isn’t leaving New Orleans anytime soon after the five-time Pro Bowl running back agreed to terms on a two-year, $24.5 million extension.
The extension helps the Saints, as it keeps Kamara in New Orleans longer and saves about $18 million in salary cap space for 2025.
This deal marked Alvin Kamara’s first extension since he penned a five-year, $75 million extension in September 2020.
Following his deal, Kamara received an enticing offer from a local brewery.
Abita Beer in Louisiana said it was “about to give Alvin Kamara a lifetime supply of beer” while calling the star running back a “loyal king.”
Alvin Kamara certainly agreed with the offer, as he was ready for the beer based on his response.

Just before the season, the New Orleans Saints and Abita Brewing Company announced a new partnership, naming Abita as the Official Craft Beer of the New Orleans Saints.
Abita Brewing Company is the oldest and largest local craft brewery in Louisiana. It is known for its premium beers, including Abita Amber, Purple Haze, AndyGator, and The Boot.
Over the offseason, Kamara skipped the end of the Saints’ mandatory minicamp as he was seeking a new contract.
“I want to be a Saint,” he said in July. “I want to retire here.”
It took a few more months, but he eventually got what he wanted.
