Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson was armed at gunpoint in Los Angeles back in 2023.
Two armed are said to have approached Robinson outside an L.A. hotel just after midnight and demanded he hand over his valuables. Robinson did not fight it and did what they asked as the robbers took him for over $100,000 in jewelry including a luxury watch, and the thieves fled.
Three months later, the wide receiver has filed a lawsuit against Lexen Hotel in North Hollywood, California.
According to TMZ Sports, Robinson is seeking at least $149,500 in damages and said the hotel was negligent because it did not do enough to protect him.
He stated there were no security guards outside the hotel or in the lobby and that the employees at the front desk did not contact police until after two masked men who robbed him at gunpoint fled the scene.
